What we collect
When you request a preliminary valuation we collect the answers you give about the shape of your business data (industry, company size, years of history, systems used, approximate volume, how work is documented), your name, your work email, and any notes you add. We do not collect raw company data, exports, logins, or customer or employee records through this site.
Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, which it uses to serve the site and protect it from abuse.
We may use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. When enabled, it sets cookies and sends Meta information about your visit, such as the pages you view and whether you requested an estimate. You can opt out of ads personalisation in your Facebook ad settings, and most browsers let you block third-party cookies.
How we use it
- To produce your preliminary assay and send you a copy.
- To decide whether to follow up about your data, and to contact you if we do.
- To operate, secure and improve the site.
We do not sell your contact details and we do not use them for unrelated marketing.
Who we share it with
Your submission is processed by our hosting provider and may be forwarded to the tools we use to track inbound requests (for example a CRM or messaging workspace). Those providers process it on our behalf. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep valuation requests for as long as we are evaluating them or in contact with you about them, and then for a reasonable period for our records. You can ask us to delete your request at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by contacting us. Requesting a valuation does not obligate you to anything, and you can withdraw at any point.
