The site and the valuation

This site describes Motherlode and offers a free preliminary data valuation. The preliminary result is an indicative assessment of the shape of a dataset, generated from the answers you provide. It is not a price, an appraisal, an offer, or a commitment to purchase or license anything.

No obligation

Requesting a valuation does not transfer any ownership of, or rights in, your data to Motherlode. It does not give Motherlode access to your systems. It does not obligate you to sell or license anything. Any purchase or license of data happens only under a separate written agreement signed by both parties.

Your answers

You agree that the information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are authorized to submit it on behalf of your company. Do not submit raw company data, personal data about customers or employees, or confidential material through this site; the valuation tool is not designed to receive it.

Legal and privacy requirements

Any transaction involving data is subject to diligence on ownership, rights, contractual restrictions, privacy law and other applicable requirements. Motherlode may decline to proceed with any dataset at its discretion.

No warranties

The site and the preliminary valuation are provided as is. Motherlode makes no warranty about the accuracy of any preliminary result or about the eventual value, if any, of a dataset.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date above shows the current version.
